The petting farm has plenty of friendly animals, such as goats, sheep, horses, cows, chickens, pigs, lamas and lots more. The kids simply love coming here. Founded by Electra Havemeyer Webb the museum showcases mostly the utilitarian objects as she was quite fascinated by them. The artifacts are exhibited in 39 buildings. These buildings display a fine collection of decorative arts, paintings, folk sculpture, weathervanes, decoys, quilts, toys, dolls, circus memorabilia and more. There are six period houses also here. The building of the museum too is historic that has the traditional New England structures constructed in the 45 acres of land. The museum also comprises of a lighthouse, a steam locomotive, an operating vintage carousel, a general store, a covered bridge, and steamboat Ticonderoga.
